Bidrage med feedbackI had a strong desire for wonton noodles, but to my disappointment, my go-to noodle spot was closed on Wednesday.
The server was very friendly and you could tell she was truly passionate about the food at the restaurant.
There are numerous ramen restaurants to choose from, so why did this one receive a five-star rating? I would attribute it to its simplicity.
Favourite ramen place in the area - way better than Sansotei. The texture of the ramen at Jyuban has never disappointed. My biggest pet peeve with ramen is when it's too soft. It's never the case here. I usually get the tonkotsu pork ramen. The soup is very tasty, and there's no MSG! I've never been left with horrible thirst for hours (ahem, Sansotei). The pork is also very sweet and tasty. I love the red bean dessert as well. I'm no self-proclaimed foodie or ramen connoisseur; all I know is what I like, and damn, the ramen here is GOOD.
I walked in with family with an expectation of eating Japanese ramen. With lots of Japanese word and settings, it appears that they fall short on the noodle. The noodle served in the bowl was cheap chinese regular noodle, yet they charge over $10 a bowl. This is unacceptable and please do not be fool by this restaurant.
