Disappointing breakfast at M&S CulverhouseCross Cardiff today. Attended M&S and decided to go for breakfast whilst there shopping . A Breakfast cost £8.95 , we had to wait about 20 minutes to get a table , ordered our Hot drinks and nearly finished them after about 15 minutes before our meals were brought to the table , might as well have been by I robot , no conversation from the staff member , mine was just luke warm to start with , no offer of any extra Tomato sauce etc you would have at another cafe or restaurant. I was starving and it was busy so couldn’t be bothered to complain but if it had been anywhere else I would’ve complained . Not worth the money they are charging. The dinky Sausages looked as it’d they were precooked yesterday. Eaten better ready meals from a freezer thrown in a micro for a few minutes .

Awful Americano coffee ... weak, insipid, tasteless. Decor looking a bit worn too. Would have expected more from M&S. Will not visit cafe again.

There was a queue at the door but well handled in a friendly way by the lady in charge and tables for two found surprisingly quick . Food was brought very quickly, very tasty and we have no complaints.

My 91 year old mum and I went to cafe for lunch today. They are so disorganised it’s unbelievable ! We queued outside and my mum chose from the menu available at the door. After the door queue I queued again while my mum found a seat. When I came to order at the till where they were woefully understaffed and quite disorganised I was told that what we had chosen wasn’t available it was only 1pm. I then had to hold up the queue to find my mum and see what else she wanted to eat. If they had told us whilst in the queue outside that certain items weren’t available it would make the process much faster and easier. This has happened regularly to us and it is really annoying !! Overall they seem really disorganised and there doesn’t seem anyone in overall charge. I expect better from M&S.

My husband and I went to the coffee shop for lunch today. We are regular customers, but I have to say the wait for our food was quite long. When it finally arrived, it seemed like it had been sitting out for a while as it was only warm. The coffee shop was crowded with tables full of dirty dishes, giving it a slightly unkempt appearance. I've noticed a decline in the quality of their service over the past few years, and when we inquired about their new advertised items, they didn't have them available.
