Bidrage med feedbackI was lucky enough to have lunch here yesterday with the 50% off Dimmi special. Despite the British name, the food here is largely Spanish. The ambiance is very pleasant, light, airy, white and of course with a lovely river view. The service is exemplary - the staff are many, polite, friendly and knowledgeable. Onto the food. My favourite dish was the octopus with celeriac remoulade. This was from the 'tapas' menu which for some reason doesn't appear on the menu you are handed, but instead is on a plastic stand which is easy to ignore. I would love to see the whole menu presented on the menu you are handed. The octopus was delicious. Perfectly cooked, with creaminess and acidity in the dressing. We also tried the jamon iberico. The chef was kind enough to send out some slivers of chorizo and salami here too. The quality of all of this is top notch. It's served with a beautiful carta di musica bread (sorry I don't know the Spanish name for this!). The scallops on corn purée were gorgeously presented and lovely to eat. Tiny pieces of bacon added savouriness and tomato gave acidity. The pork belly was very well cooked and served slightly off menu in very kind deference to my son, with patatas bravas sans sauce instead of the menu offering. The Jerusalem artichoke purée served with this was lovely. A main of lamb was less successful - perfectly cooked, but just not as interesting as other dishes. The final flourish was the churros - RUN DON'T WALK for these churros! I'm not kidding. These are so different from the stuff we are given in chain restaurants like chocalateria San churro or whatever it's called. These are amazing and the real deal. I feel like people probably don't know that Cutty Sark is a Spanish restaurant, because of the name. But it's a really good one! Give it a shot the next time you want a lovely, relaxed lunch by the water.

Was recommended this restaurant by a friend, and overall it was a pleasant experience at Cutty Sark. For entrée were some delicious fresh oysters which were presented very well, along with the scallops which were seared beautifully and very tender. Main was shared with my partner - the seafood paella. This was delicious overall, however I would have liked some more prawns and mussels (maybe I'm being greedy). Thanks for the lovely dining experience. Will bring my kids next time to try out the kids dishes. Thanks :)
Just had a very pleasant mother's day lunch with 3 of my adult sons and their partners. Attentive staff without "the intrusive" quality, very accommodating, found us a table so our dogs were welcome, a well balanced menu with good value and some surprise twists on a sound popular menu. Sublime live music. River seating would have been magic but we were just happy to have the seating which enabled us to have our 4 legged family members with us. Would definitely recommend it.
