Bidrage med feedbackI was a regular at this place in 2009-11. The place was very nice with very good beef and pork servings. After reading the reviews after the reopening, my friend and myself checked out the place. I'm sorry to say this but the experience was woeful. We ordered cashew feni which was priced at 300 a quarter when the actual price at restaurants is 30. We ordered boiled eggs which was priced at 60 for two pieces. The Bombay ducks were stale, priced at 200. Pork was mentioned on the menu but the waiters told us that pork wasn't served at the restaurant. Why include it in the menu then? This place has apparently been taken over by some Non Goans which has degraded the quality of this lovely place severely. Gone are the days when I enjoyed lovely beef roast and sausage fry at this place. Why is this place called Goan Delicacy when this place serves everything that is non Goan...God save Goa!!!
Horrible place to eat. Prawns in curry and fried were stale. Shellfish masala had no meat of shellfish. Fish curry kingfish was wafer thin . To expensive and not worth the money. Cook was unhygienic and no manager to speak too.
We found this restaurant up a side street near dona Paula jetty, while looking for another restaurant .It is very unpretentious but the menu looked good and there were Indian people dining, so thought it would be good.Nice cold beer, I had Goan prawn curry my husband had chicken tikka masala! Both quite spicy but the best curry we have ever tasted, and all for approx £7.Unfortunately when we went back 2 days later it wasn't open, but definitely a hi light of our holiday .
The hotel is located near the hawai beach with beautiful dona paula jetty few, but eating is in the regular delayed and is not very tasty. if you want to have a few drinks with a nice view, you can visit this place.
They are unlikely to stumble at this place, but it is only 10 minutes to foot (max) of dona paula jetty. go straight to the road until you see the chapel on the right side, go down through the Chapel area to a...small road, turn right until they reach the sea again, then left. it is worth it for the sake of view, but eating was excellent to dahl and rice, and crispy chicken. beautiful brise through the large open window, essential at such a hot day. Indifferent service is the only reason I don't give him 5 stars.
