Main Market - Sylmac

I ordered the breakfast tacos but was served French toast. When my breakfast tacos were finally brought out to me, everyone else at my table was done eating and so I had to box my tacos and take them home. Normally when this happens at any other restaurant, I get a refund, but I didn’t get a single dollar back for this inconvenience at main and market.

Went here for appetizers and dessert one night and loved the food. The hummus plate was delicious and both the strawberry shortcake and German chocolate cake were fantastic. We also came for breakfast and enjoyed the experience but they forgot to put avocado in my avocado crab omelette, so it was a bit dry. Otherwise, the hash browns are excellent. The service was perfect both visits and the atmosphere is welcoming and warm.

Walked in to place a carry out order at the front desk area to be told by the older woman working “go to the bar” after staring at me standing there. Once at the bar I sat for 10 minutes before being noticed. One server was rolling his silverware on the bar top, just ignoring me because I guess he was cut and didn’t care. So I waited patiently for the bartender to give the woman next to me samples of wine before I could place my Togo order. Noticed multiple tables that were dirty and covered in dishes. Plenty of waitstaff here but I think everyone cared more about doing their side work here so they could leave. My food took forever and all I ordered was a wrap. This is my second time here and will be my last. First time went the same way. What an awkward and weird experience and atmosphere.

My husband and I took our 4 and 2 year olds for brunch, which can be a risky move. It was awesome all around! Our server Russell set the mood with his welcoming personality, his knowledge of the menu, his enthusiasm and his kindness! Did we just become best friends!?!? He made our drinks-delicious blood Mary and perfect mimosa! And the food-*chefs kiss*!! What a great morning and what delicious food! You must go!
