Maybe the best pigtail I had in my life. tender and juicy and the smoked taste, only win in any category! Great service and cold beer to complete a beautiful experience. Definitely back tomorrow.

If you want an authentic taste of German cuisine, go here! The mood is also great. It's a beer garden. Oh, and talking about beer, it would be a sin not to drink, so to drink. The food was delicious! Service was friendly. Great place to enjoy a meal for the evening.

Amazing atmosphere. The food has blown us away! The potato fritter tastes exactly as the grandma does and the steak was OUT OF DIESER WORLD! I am a very picky steak eater, but this steak was cooked for perfection! No extra salt required. Stop it!

You always get value for money at Altstadt! They are never stingy! You get loads of food! The ribs were very good. It had a very Sunday-slow cooked-oven roasted-made with love and effort kind of taste to it. It 's not a flame grilled type. It 's always busy, so make sure to reserve a table or go early. Highly recommended when in Swakop.
