Commercial Thurso - Sunderland

Called in for a couple of drinks as our cruise ship was alongside in Scrabster. Really quaint bar, lovely pint of Belhaven Best and my wife enjoyed her pino grigio. Two really pleasant young women behind the bar and friendly locals. 100% recomend this bar if you are in town. Thanks for making us feel welcome.

Cracking pub. Good choice of drinks. Friendly staff. Good craic with the locals. Went in for a couple of beers ...ended up staying for a few more!!

Very disappointed, no ventilation in Hootna’s very damp atmosphere. Could have done with windows or doors open but there was no opening windows, there had been a ventilation fan but it’s now a clock!! Would not go back.

Visit here when in Thurso and always met with a friendly welcome , always having a good real ale on .

Every time we have been to Thurso we come here for a drink. The landlady and locals are so friendly, great prices too!!
