Grace Coffee Co. - Sun Prairie

I’ve been to Grace Coffee now 3 times. My daughter recommended it as we were close after using the UW Hospital clinics for a family member. This was a place she loved so we decided to meet up as a quick coffee, lunch spot. The selection of AMAZING pastries greets you as you walk in the door! My favorite is the Almond Croissant! We also had lunch and selected the chicken salad croissant. Top quality food!!! You will pay a bit more, but I’d rather pay a little more to have something this amazing! WAIT TIME is ridiculous. The wait has consistently been way too long! It does not matter how busy they are, it has been a minimum of 15 minutes whether in the drive through or inside for simple orders for one. Going inside does not help! I have waited for 20-30 minutes multiple times thinking I will give them another try. It is always slow but never acknowledged. Some servers have been nice, others rude or unhappy. The almond croissants and coffee are good, however their chocolate croissants uninspiring. I had a strawberry Nutella croissant which was soggy from old flavorless strawberries on it. Their Italian sodas are good sometimes, but inconsistent. Breakfast veggie sandwich was ok, but the flavor again is so uninspiring. It’s a place I want to love but simply leave disappointed, minus the good tasting coffee. Not sure how they get good reviews and how management doesn’t fix the timely issue. No other place takes this long. Never in my experience, and if so, it’s an aberration.

Had an Açaí bowl as well as the avocado toast and would highly recommend either. Really good food for a coffee shop and a destination to eat.

Had a to go order. This was VERY expensive $18.00 with tip for lackluster food. My breakfast sandwich was missing the sauce and the bacon was burnt to the point I had to take it off to eat the sandwich. Coffee was ok flavor wise but not very warm when I received it. Seems cold milk was used in a hot beverage. Unfortunately I would have had a better experience at McDonalds.
