Applebee's Grill - Summerville

Had a party of seven and service was very good. One burger plate arrived at the table not cooked properly and was quickly replaced. The Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp was moved from 2 for $25 to 2 for $32. I guess not bad considering Bidenomics.

Had a good visit. Was grateful for the free appetizer coupon that came in my email : we got the Neighborhood Nachos Beef, and loved appreciated the nice size dollop of sour cream guac : kids got kid’s stuff. No complaints from them. I tried their White Cheddar Bacon Chicken Skillet and was grateful the chicken had seasoning on it! Mashed Potatoes were delicious, but I can’t say the same for the Mac cheese. The texture cheese sauce was perfect but it tasted bland. Small let down, but it’s all good. Their sweet tea made it all better. The End.

Wish I could give this place a half star. Service was lousy. Took waitress 30 minutes to consider taking our order. Then we waited another 40 minutes before we finally got up and left without eating. Totally a waste of time to go there. We were from out of town. Worst Applebee's ever.

I would have liked to have a better experience, but from start to finish was suspect. The waitress came over before we had a chance to look at the menu, with a slight attitude which seemed to get worst as the meal progressed. Everything I asked was an issue it appeared to be. My brother and I decided to do the 2 4 $25.. the new sizzling steak 4 me, and the sizzling chicken 4 him. But what has me upset, was 1 I requested steak Meduim it was medium well, which when I said it to the waitress, well you can tell the manager, ok no problem, manager comes over, can you cut it in the middle, (umm, why, I am thinking ok cut in the middle same as the place I cur, I say, this is medium well, I asked for Medium, him said in my opinion this is, no Sir, it is medium well. Ok recook, comes out medium, perfect. By now, though I am full ask for a box. And check comes, didn't look at first and was just handing my card when I noticed it was $54.n change. How, 2 4 $25 plus one tea. Hmmm, let's check. (So, I forgot to mention I ordered a cocktail, which she brings incomplete, supposed to have golden sugar on rim, no she says a margaritas, no salt no sugar, umm no, goes back comes back we out of sugar, ok well then I don't want it, attitude getting worst. OK back to price. So I was charged for each entrée separately, $11 for the steak that was remade. Then told the sizzling steak nor chicken entrée was on the2 4 $25, when we ordered off the 2 4 $25 menu. Asked for the menu, and then no harm no foul. While the food was good, the attitude and the attempt to cheat me out of $24, (which I still gave 15% tip needless to say I will not return to this Applebee's location.
