Just be careful when ordering sausage rolls. My husband and I were violently sick after eating these, Needless to say, i won't be ordering these ever again

I had a cherry bake well slice , it’s the only sweet treat I like atm. Chicken mayo doorstep seeded bread. Soft Rolls I would recommend it , I prefer the old town to the new town west gate. Simmons Traditional pasty very nice.

Grabbed a traditional Cornish pasty for lunch , I returned to the car to eat it . I broke it in two to cool , the contents looked superb , but every bite had a gristly bit in the meat . What a disappointment . I returned to the store to raise an issue but the queue was huge so I just went elsewhere .

Simmons is a Hertfordshire based bakery company. Its big enough to be able to do a good range of home baked products including breads, cakes, pastries etc. But not so large to loose attention to quality. The range has expanded to include more vegetarian and vegan choices especially the sausage rolls (which are much more tasty than those offered by larger chain bakeries). There is no space to eat inside and a couple of small tables outside....or take your lunch to a public bench nearby.

The staff are polite and friendly, the sausages rolls are really tasty, however, rather expensive. Great lunch break!
