The Chilterns - Central Bedfordshire

Our group of 12 had Christmas dinner at the college last night. Some had traditional Christmas dinner while others opted for the tasty alternatives. All the food (3 courses) was delicious. Ample portions of succulent tender meat and fresh veg. Lovely christmas pud and home made mince pies. We all thouroghly enjoyed our night at the colllege looked after by friendly helpful and attentive staff.

Wonderful cooked food in an exciting setting. Lunch and Dinner, with brilliantly supervised student caterers. Many types of cuisine, with regular themed dinners as well as daily a la carte dining.

We were impressed by the extensive menu choices at this restaurant, but unfortunately, we were wrong in our expectations. The fish course was oversized but too delicious to leave uneaten. Overall, it was a lovely evening enjoyed by around 40-50 people who were all eagerly anticipating the next themed evening. At just £18.00 per person, it was a great value, especially considering the quality of the fish course.

One downside is that by sharing this positive review, the restaurant may become very popular and it could become harder to secure a reservation. It's important to keep in mind that this is a training restaurant for students, not a 4-star establishment, but the food quality is certainly on par with some well-known restaurants. The students are there to learn and may sometimes seem a bit overwhelmed, so a little patience can go a long way. In the end, you will likely be rewarded with a fantastic meal. Enjoy! Note: "Hospitality Central" is not the most inspiring name for a restaurant and doesn't do justice to the high quality of the food and service.

I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is of exceptional quality. My only complaint is that the background music could be lowered slightly.
