The main issue, though, was the heat. Everyone at our table commented on how hot it was, and one person even had to step outside for a breather. While I understand it's warm outside, there seemed to be a real lack of airflow inside. It felt stuffy and uncomfortable, making it hard to fully enjoy the meal.

The real challenge was dealing with his three-year-old daughter, who screamed at the top of her lungs while the father did nothing to correct her behavior. She was also allowed to run freely around the restaurant, contributing to the chaos. The woman we assumed was the manager took no action to address the situation. It appeared that several other patrons were not there to eat but were simply socializing with the man and his children. This place has unfortunately turned into a sort of local daycare or hangout spot. It's a shame because the food was quite good, but the lack of effective management has significantly reduced the chances of attracting paying customers in the future.

I stopped by for lunch and ordered the southwest egg rolls as an appetizer. They were steaming hot on the outside, but unfortunately some were still cold inside. Our waitress kindly offered to prepare a fresh batch, but we decided to try the mozzarella sticks instead. Those were fantastic, although the marinara sauce was a bit unconventional for our taste. For the main course, we both ordered hot dogs, which turned out to be excellent. I'm quite particular about coleslaw, but theirs was spot on. The service was great; they even removed the appetizer from our bill, and the restrooms were clean. Overall, it was a positive experience!

While driving through, we ate at Coach's in Statesville since it was right across from our hotel. Our server, Elizabeth, was the only server working this evening and was AMAZING! Her attitude and service of our family were top notch as she also served everyone else in the restaurant. All of the food was delicious, and we will definitely be back the next time we are in town.
