Clarion Pointe Statesville

This was a very clean, comfy hotel. It was my sister and I on this trip and we like our room cold. Like meat locker cold. Our air didn't work but the manager came right away and moved us to a different room. Friendly staff and nice cold, comfortable room. I definitely recommend if you're in the area.Rooms: 4/5

Room was not very comfortable. Bed made a weird banging noise if you moved an inch. AC didn't work well and room was humid. People outside drinking all night and carrying on until 4am. Multiple rooms around us had people sitting outside staring at us when we were trying to get in. We left at 5am after not getting any sleep. Front desk gentleman was kind and courteous, and building looked well kept outside. Only good parts of the stay.Safety: I had concerns about the safety of the hotel. Seems rooms were rented to people as homes as there were many outside sitting in front of the rooms and numerous people were outside drinking until 4am.

Room was clean and perfect for me and my dog. No rugs in case of accidents. Employees were helpful and friendly. I had paid ahead, called that I would be a late arrival and had no problem when I arrived. Would highly recommend this motel, especially if you need an overnight stay.Food drinks: Offered a continental breakfast that presented a good selection for any appetite.

Room was ok, nothing impressive. Could use updating a deeper cleaning. The bar and restaurant had good service but was definitely pricy for what it is. Outback next door would have been better and cheaper for dinner.Rooms: 2/5
