Bidrage med feedbackThe boiled shrimp are authentic Gulf delicacies and offered at a great price. The ambiance feels like the French Quarter, bringing a touch of New Orleans right to Starkville. I can't wait to come back and sample the fried catfish and gumbo!
Easily the worst food I?ve had in this town. Not even trying to be rude. The nachos were cold. ?Creole? sauce was non existent. As a Louisiana native I am embarrassed they call this Cajun food. The Mac and cheese which I ordered with sausage in hopes itcould make up for the lackluster nachos. Boy was I wrong, they were worse! Kraft in the box taste better. To cap things off theyhad a special on $2 mimosas and they should?ve called it OJ with a SPLASH of fizz they were very disappointing to say theleast. Like I said earlier I am not trying to be rude just giving my honest opinion.
Been here a couple of times and it was great! John B was the waiter today and he was outstanding! Thank you for keeping my cup full of Dr. Pepper! Will definitely be back again and again?
It seems like they're trying to focus more on being a bar now. This used to be one of our favorite spots when we visited Starkville. The food was decent, but it's the little things that matter. We shouldn't have to ask for water or napkins, especially when we're eating shrimp. The menu options aren't as good as they used to be. The service was alright, and they weren't particularly busy.
I have to say, the food was surprisingly disappointing. The gumbo had tomatoes in it, which I found quite off-putting, and it lacked any flavor whatsoever. As for the boudin balls, they had celery in them—who does that? I’m from Texas and grew up just an hour from Louisiana; this is not authentic Cajun food! I won’t be returning; I feel like I wasted $60.
