Bella Jack's - St. Catharines

I had Chachi's chimichanga and it. was. AMAZING! So flavourful. The portions were great for the price. I left completely satisfied. Not too sure of the complaints about staff,  I went around 4:30 on a weekday so it wasn't very busy.  I am not the kind of person that expects food to be out ASAP. I especially don't mind when they bring you free chips and salsa! : But everyone seemed very friendly and I enjoyed my time there.

Bella Jacks is a great Mexican place. If you're looking for great food and friendly faces, you'll find it here. The manager is pleasant and easy to talk to. They bring you chips and Salsa on the house while you wait for your meal. I love their Clydesdale Red Hot Chilli, but be warned! It's hot and I buy scolding hot sauces from an actual hot sauce store! They have other great menu items like the chimichanga! For apps I would recommend the 3 cheese dip, or the Rollitos! Hope this helps.

My mother and two cousins and I went to Bella jacks for lunch my cousins got the lunch special which was a taco and burrito. My mom got the taco salad with beef and I got a chimichanga. We had a male waiter he was really good took our drink and food orders fast and our food came out fast too. My mom's taco salad had chicken instead of beef and they switched it for her promptly. Overall the food was pretty good. I wouldn't say it was the best canadian mexican I've had but it was good enough. We also got deep fried ice cream which was good to.. I'd Def return when I am in St thomas again.

Great food...not so great service!!!. We have been going to Bella Jacks for a couple of years now and have been on several occasions. Each occasion the food was incredible. The BEST most authentic Mexican around. We drive to St Thomas from London for the best steak fajita and guacamole we have ever tried (including a trip to Mexico) However, the service was not quite as we would hope for. I don't believe asking for extra napkins or a glass of water is cause for a minor melt down or for a server to be down right rude with us. There is one server in particular that is very rude almost every time we come. It seems she is always there and for some reason, more often then not, we have her as our server. A little patience and a friendly smile go a very long way. If I were the owner of this restaurant I would be very concerned and be speaking to my staff. Hard working individuals deserve to get good service when they are paying for it. For some, a dinner out, essentially is a form of weekend entertainment and want the experience to be pleasing overall.

Food and atmosphere the best in the city however service is lacking. Short staffed and not a smile to be seen
