The Cheese Block - Southwark

This is a small jewel of a shop, especially if they like their cheese and their preserves. Yeah, sure you could go to sainsbury and buy your cheese there. but why do you want? the 'changeable' girl, really is not- she's beautiful, how is the boss, and she's both extremely knowledgeable. the cheese is not as expensive as some might think (they live in london, grow up) and if they are looking for something, especially or even a broad presentation of what they want, they are both very accommodating and helpful. I'm gonna have to wait for you. Go on!

Amazing cheese selection, good prices, interesting and friendly staff. I go almost every weekend to get some of my fav cheese plus some new recommendations. large variety of European delis. a hidden shade.

Great selection of cheese, but also other bits I like: homemade samosas, olive bread sticks, plus all sorts of jars and things you could give as a present or something.

I love this shop, great selection of cheese and very friendly staff who take the time to advise them, well most of the time since they are clearly very busy...not-stop-waiting outside at the weekend! I also like the fact that it is not only cheese, and there are many Italian/Spanish products. I understand what other people say about the price, but I wouldn't buy a cheese I can find in a super market, and yet quality has a price.

For some time be a customer and the cheese selection is fantastic, service is excellent, well worth a try!
