I am not sure why this restaurant was so busy because the service was terrible and the food was not good either. It took a long time to get our drinks, food, reorder drinks, and pay. The service was extremely slow and we were not provided with new plates or cutlery for our starters. The food itself was nothing special and did not seem to be homemade. My paneer tikka masala looked like a microwave ready meal. The starters were very greasy and swimming in fat. Towards the end of our meal, something fell out of an overhead vent and landed in one of our dishes, possibly a lump of dirt or dust. No compensation was offered for this incident. I would recommend trying other restaurants in East Dulwich instead of wasting your time and money here.

I recently visited this restaurant with high expectations, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing from the start. After waiting nearly 10 minutes to order drinks and receive glasses that I had to request twice, our meal took over an hour to arrive. To make matters worse, all of our dishes were served lukewarm, far below the proper temperature. When we brought this issue to the attention of a staff member, their proposed solution was to microwave our meals. This lack of care and customer service not only marred our dining experience, but also reflected poorly on the restaurant as a whole. I would caution others against dining here in the future.

The customer service at this restaurant is lacking and unhelpful. Despite being a loyal customer for many years, my loyalty seems to mean nothing to them.

Being a previous Dulwich resident this used to be the best curry house on Lordship Lane. However, after a recent revisit I was totally disappointed. The waiter who severed us clearly had a heavy cold, a little concerning! Not deterred, we continued with our meal. Poor quality and excessive amount of oil!

This is definitely one of the better Indian restaurants in East Dulwich. Good, efficient service, varied menu and tasty food. Atmosphere was nice. We were a table of 4 and had none of the privacy issues of a recent reviewer (but then the same review scored it as 'Terrible ' but said it was standard in the headline which doesn 't make any sense). Will definitely come back!
