Basecamp Beer Garden - South Lake Tahoe

The location of the base camp is great and the facility was beautiful. The bathroom smells like waste water. We put the sink with water and washcloth and that made it tolerable, but it was quite annoying. I mentioned it at checkout. I don't even have the trouble to mention the pillow with makeup stains on him, since when I mentioned the smell, she didn't seem to care. When we booked, our room mentioned s’mores and hot chocolate and I still had to ask the reception. I felt like I was chasing when I was just trying to use what I was told would be offered. It was really nice to have the brewery nearby. All in all a decent stay, but not 5/5.

Staying in the base camp was wonderful! We were greeted by Marshall, who was extremely friendly and welcoming! He made us feel at home right away! He told us where to find great live music, good food and all the right places! He showed us where the hot tub was to hit the slopes after a long day! He also gave our English bulldogs some delicious treats they loved! We recommend you to stay in Basecamp! It is a perfect location and walk to the gondola and downtown! We can't wait to come back!

We had a really nice stay during the New Year's weekend. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially one of the Marshall reception staff. I definitely want to come back if there is not too much snow to hang the fire pits in the beer garden.

Especially a great thank you to our receptionists this day, Marshall, he was very polite and helpful, our family room is very clean and also the parking is free, that is a big plus, walking to Heavenly, casinos, shopping and best restaurants in town, We will definitely go back to this place next Lake Tahoe/Skiing family adventure

Basecamp is awesome. marshall and matt the dudes working at the front desk weresuper cool. they told us where to go to have a good time. the brewery has live music and great beer. base canp is also right next to the mountain and the casinos.
