Bidrage med feedbackA delightful spot for children of all ages, this creamery on the renowned Maryland Ice Cream Trail features a small petting zoo, a butterfly maze, and climbing trees made from tires. With its low-tech charm, it evokes a slower, more joyful time. You can also explore nearby orchards. The ice cream is fantastic and reasonably priced: $4 for a single scoop, $5 for two scoops, and $6 for three. In addition to ice cream, they offer sunflowers, milkshakes, and much more. If you’re looking for something savory to enjoy alongside your ice cream, the chili is excellent.
The ice cream here is absolutely delicious—I'd recommend trying the Granny's Crumb and the Chocolate Cake Batter flavors. They also serve a delightful summer herbal cheese. The location offers stunning views of the valley and mountains, and there's a beautiful sunflower patch, a fruity garden, and a few farm animals, including a mini horse. There are also activities for children, making it a great little getaway from the subway station. My kids were entertained for hours!
My wife and I visited this wonderful establishment after hiking at High Rock recently. It’s a charming place where you can see several farm animals nearby, and there’s also a beautiful and lively butterfly garden. The ice cream is outstanding, especially the waffle cone! I tried the Granny's Crumbs, which is a favorite there, and my wife had the lemon cookie, which was also delicious—similar to key lime in flavor. Highly recommended!
It's only worth seeing! We enjoyed the Dizzy Cow and Strawberry ice cream. Great place to take the little ones so they can see and play the animals. Many places to sit outside.
Fantastic ice cream and much more. They have a very nice petting zoo with a variety of animals. There are some different mazes. The scenery is beautiful. You have all that with friendly service. It is all free, except the ice cream.
