Monjunis Italian Cafe Grocery

I've been ordering my food curbside since 2020, and I've always been a regular customer. Recently, however, I was informed that they no longer offer curbside service because "COVID isn't around anymore." This is simply not true—COVID is still a reality, along with other emerging health concerns. As a disabled individual, I requested to have my order brought to me curbside, but they refused. I even offered to pick it up from the door, which is only three feet from the register, but they still wouldn't accommodate me. As a loyal customer for many years, this experience has been disappointing. If management could implement safe procedures, hire enough staff to create a safe and peaceful work environment, and update their online advertisements to accurately reflect their current policies, it would greatly improve the service.

Fraud alert! Please review your statements. I placed a pick-up order and was unexpectedly charged an additional $6.00 because someone added their own tip. I used to love this place, but this experience has changed my opinion. It's hard to trust anyone these days. I attempted to call the owner, but my calls have gone unanswered.

The atmosphere here is really laid-back and enjoyable, almost like you're in a café at a vineyard. The service is consistently excellent. The Cajun shrimp toast is incredibly tasty, and I always make sure to order it whenever I come. The shrimp aurora is also a fantastic dish, very generous in size, loaded with shrimp and cheese, and perfect for sharing between two people.

Date: 12/15/23 I had an excellent dining experience! The food was outstanding, and the service was top-notch. The atmosphere was lovely, giving you a wonderful sense of Little Italy. I highly recommend this gem of a restaurant in Shreveport, Louisiana!

Ok so I have been to the other two locations in Shreveport-Bossier but this was my first time at the O.G.! I ordered toasted ravioli from the lunch menu and had sweet tea. There sauce is the best. I buy a jar for the house. It's a must for spaghetti at home. Be sure to get some of there bread to-go. It goes great to dip in warm sauce.
