Counter Culture - Shreveport

As always, Counter Culture provided excellent customer service! The staff was incredibly friendly and offered fantastic recommendations for what to eat. The Pecan Parfait was absolutely amazing, featuring fresh strawberries and creamy yogurt.

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The girl at the counter accidentally dropped a cup on the floor, then picked it up and handed it to the customer ahead of me. After she had paid, they let her know that the well drink station was out of ice. I ordered a Humphrey Yogart and ended up waiting for 20 minutes. During that time, four other customers placed their orders. The fourth person ordered a Humphrey, and the woman behind the counter promptly made it for her. I will not be returning to this place. I even spoke to the owner, who said that the girl had never acted poorly before and that she wasn't worried about it. It seems like nothing will be done about the situation.

The food was mostly enjoyable, though the steak sandwich was a disappointment; it lacked the special sauce mentioned and had soggy bread. The service was slow, but the prices were reasonable. Unfortunately, the counter staff were quite rude and seemed annoyed when I ordered four sandwiches.

Always good! The big Humphrey is a filling snack if not a light lunch. Turkey Melt is a winner with very fresh ingredients, high quality turkey meat and good bread choices. If you get the David's drink, get a spoon, not a straw. Beautiful and thick tango yoghurt with honeygranola and sunflower seeds. I'm going to lunch.

Been here many times. So delicious. Every time ingredients are fresh and flavorful. Today I got a baby Humphrey (which always delivers), roasted red pepper and gouda soup, and the chicken salad sandwich on wheat with lettuce tomatoes and sprouts. Sandwich was tasty, and the soup was incredible. Staff is always very nice. Love this place.
