Cantina Laredo - Shreveport

Fantastic Mexican cuisine! Honestly, the BEST tortilla chips I've ever tasted. We couldn't resist and devoured two baskets of them! The Ahi tuna tacos were amazing, and the enchilada/taco combo was just as delightful. I will definitely be returning!

The ambiance is consistently pleasant, and the service is excellent. However, during my latest visit, I ordered a shrimp salad that was quite expensive, but it arrived with only four small grilled shrimp, two chunks of pineapple, and a single very thinly sliced strawberry on top. There also appeared to be a few chopped nuts sprinkled over it. I really should have sent it back and ordered something else, as I felt I didn't get nearly enough food for the price I paid!

The food was absolutely amazing! I'm definitely going back—I was just talking about it today. Plus, the prices are fantastic!

I had high hopes for this restaurant, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. I was excited to try it out when I was invited for a business meeting. The chips and salsa were a highlight; the chips were thin and crispy, and the salsa had a delicious roasted flavor. However, I ordered a trio of enchiladas that were just average. While they looked amazing and received high marks for presentation, the flavor was lacking. Given that this is a higher-end Mexican restaurant, I anticipated much more in terms of taste. I would consider returning to try something different in hopes of a better experience. The chips and salsa are definitely worth having again, but the dishes I tried that day did not impress me. Additionally, the service was quite slow, likely due to a large business party of over 20 guests with only one waitress assigned to our group.

The Mexican food here is truly exceptional! Without a doubt, these are the best tortilla chips I've ever eaten—we couldn't help ourselves and polished off two baskets! The Ahi tuna tacos were amazing, and the enchilada/taco combo was just as wonderful. I will absolutely be coming back!
