Bidrage med feedbackThis was truly one of the best dinners we've had in a long time! The new chef has really raised the bar with the quality of the food, the menu, and the speed of service. I hadn't tried the prime rib here in a couple of years due to its toughness in the past, but I decided to give it another shot tonight, and it turned out to be one of the best prime ribs I've ever had! It was tender, flavorful, and juicy—cooked to perfection! The baked French onion soup was also likely the best I've ever tasted. Overall, the dishes came out quickly, but they were timed perfectly without crowding the table. The service was fantastic, and the food was outstanding! I highly recommend this restaurant. If you've visited before and had a less than stellar experience, do yourself a favor and come back—you won’t be disappointed!
We had a fantastic view of the river, making us feel as though we had our own private table right by the window. The service was outstanding and very professional. I really enjoyed the lentil soup and the grilled salmon salad; both were delicious! My son loved his flaming bourbon steak. However, my son-in-law felt that the seafood pasta tasted like tuna helper. Despite that, we had a wonderful experience overall and would definitely return.
However, our second visit, with just three of us, was less satisfactory. We were told there would be a 30-minute wait, despite having called ahead and noticing that there were more empty tables than occupied ones. The hostess explained that they had only one chef available since the other had not shown up, and unfortunately, Chef John was not there either. We were meeting a friend visiting from out of town to appreciate the food and the view, so the long wait in a mostly empty restaurant was disappointing. A man from the bar came out to apologize for the delay, but I wasn't sure what his role was. After mentioning our prior call and that we had a guest arriving at 6:30, we were seated. The service was satisfactory, and the food was good, but it didn't quite match the quality of our first visit. We'll definitely return, but next time we'll ensure that Chef John is present. I hope they can sort out their staffing issues soon.
