China House Buffet - Shamokin Dam

Don't be fooled by the outside appearance. This restaurant is enormous, and the buffet selection is correspondingly massive. It is well decorated too, contributing to the atmosphere. Almost everything I ate was delicious. I had to get a second plate, because all of the things I wanted to try would not fit on a single plate. Even the white rice was fluffy and high quality. (I live in Japan, so my standards for white rice are high. Some more vegetarian options would have been nice, though I am not a vegetarian. Service was good, with used plates being cleared away within a minute or two of being emptied. The lunch price was quite reasonable (about $12? . Typical American Chinese cuisine standards are blown out of the water by this restaurant. I was legitimately surprised, as I knew nothing about it going in. Bravo.

I just got home from eating currently having the worst diarrhea ever but food was worth it lowkey.
