I didn’t think anyone could make marsh like I was served Watery and lumpy, I thought it was apple sauce at first How could a chef make this is beyond me

Wonderful meals, prompt service and a wide selection of beers and wines. Will definitely call in for lunch again.

We have now dined twice at the Hotel. Consistently good food both times. We enjoyed dining in the front area as out the back can get a bit noisy. You are greeted on entry checking you are Covid safe then taken to your table and...told about the specials and recommendations, very efficient. To order your food you order from the Restaurant bar and drinks you have to go to the main bar which can be crowded, and social distancing lacking. We enjoyed our visit both times.

Freezing cold No working heating Only a few veggie vegan options Mash and veg was dry and not nice Renovations are lovely

Dropped in without a booking and were seated quickly and easily. Friendly staff all round and meals were large and very tasty. Would definitely return again for another drink and meal.
