Harvest Home Boutique Hotel - Tabilk

We stayed at this lovely old hotel overnight and had breakfast in the morning. The place has a heap of old world character particularly in the dining areas. Beautiful garden and pool for the warmer months. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet until early morning when you do hear trains in the distance. The breakfast was delicious though somehow our order was lost and after reminding the waiter it arrived quickly. Enjoyed our stay here and would recommend.

Daughter took me there for Mothers Day and I loved it so much that I booked the following weekend for our wedding anniversary . The food is great the rooms beautiful and very quaint. We were beside the open fire which I loved and added to the atmosphere. Most importantly were the waiting staff and owner who go beyond to make you feel welcome. Highly recommend.

This experience is a must. Everything is rustic, eclectic and charming, with beautiful serene buildings and rooms and extensive intriguing gardens. Great food, amazing beef eye fillet!! Local wine choices are wonderful and sooooo affordable, thank u A really lovely team looked after us. Overall, we r so glad we stayed here, what a wonderful country gem!

The perfect combination of fine food, historic setting and wonderful service. My family thoroughly enjoyed lunch at Harvest Home. It is a credit to the operators to offer such a high quality lunch in a quiet tucked away town like Avenel. Well worth a stop over on any road trip along the Hume Freeway.

My partner and I stayed last weekend as we had a wedding close by and we had the most fabulous stay! All the staff were so incredibly hospitable (even after forgetting my key at the wedding! Big shout out to Kylie and Shane especially! . The cosy rooms, beautiful gardens and incredible food made the weekend one to remember! I was so relaxed and in awe of the place. Can’t wait to go back and spend more time here. Molly and Matt.
