Selkirk Inn & Conference Centre

Well my table of 7 came in for brunch this morning and we were promptly seated in the back corner..... and from there we were forgotten about. Waited 25 minutes and told a staff member that no one had given us menus or got drink orders from us yet.... waited another 20 minutes and told a different staff member... another 10 minutes and a waitress cane and took our orders ... still no drinks... another 20 minutes for our food and drinks to arrive... we then had to find our own cuttlery.. and then the food came out cold or not cooked.... while we were waiting we witnessed many people just walk out, and if it wasnt for my hungry children, we would have done the same.

Very good food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Their menu is large and varied. The staff is friendly and efficient. I don't think their are many things on the menu that I don't like. Another bonus, their "senior menu" starts at age 55.

Very good food. Not long to wait. Service is good. Price is reasonable. Wide variety of choices on the menu.

Food very fresh and economical. Good friendly atmosphere. Cobb salad came with a generous amount of Bleu cheese. Menu was varied enough to suit different tastes. Washroom clean but supplies low. Server very cordial and kind.

I wasn't expecting much other than variety, and I was pleasantly surprised at the value and quality of the food. Wait staff was helpful in enhancing dining experience. Worth a visit if you're in the area, and want simple, but good.
