Westwood Tavern - Schaumburg

I've been coming here for years. Good food, nice atmosphere. Outdoor seating area is great. Prime Rib Dip is excellent, very tender. Veggie Burger was good too. Kids pizza is only $7-8.

A nice and very busy place for a good breakfast. You will observe it quite noisy but it's not irritating. It's highly recommended to make an advance reservation. Their service is quick. The quality of food and it's taste is great. The size orportion which is served is also Big. I hope the ones reading my experience will have even a better experience than mine . ????

I first heard about Westwood Tavern on the I'm Fat Podcast and decided to give it a try. When I visited on a Monday night, the restaurant was about half full. The centerpiece of the place is a large bar surrounded by high-top tables and booths, giving it a higher-end sports bar vibe. The menu offers a variety of options including sushi from Yessushi, burgers, salads, and sandwiches. I couldn't resist trying the Foot Long Short Rib Grilled Cheese, which was absolutely delicious. It featured three cheeses melted with short ribs on brioche bread, served with a bowl of tomato basil dipping sauce and a choice of side. My wife ordered the Fall Roasted Vegetable salad, which she enjoyed and thought was a good portion. We both wished there was some bread on the side. On Mondays, there is a $4 beer special with a wide selection of draft beers to choose from. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be returning to Westwood Tavern.

Westwood is an excellent bar with a nice ambiance and delicious food. I went there for a happy hour event after a conference and although it was crowded, the service was prompt. There were plenty of TVs showing American football (apologies, I prefer soccer). I would definitely recommend this place.

I was looking for a spot to watch Thursday night football (on Amazon Prime) and keep an eye on my New York Yankees playoff game at the same time.
