Bidrage med feedbackThis is an excellent dim sum restaurant in Scarborough that has a comfortable atmosphere, not too crowded and unlike a typical banquet hall. The food is expertly seasoned—not overly salty, greasy, or sweet. Although it might be pricier than some other places, the quality and flavors definitely justify the cost!
If you find yourself nearby, this modest dim sum restaurant is well worth a visit! Every dish we tried was fresh, and the Siu Mai (steamed pork dumplings) are served with a whole shrimp on top. The deep-fried squid tentacles are done without batter, letting you savor the delicious taste of the squid fully. While their menu may not be as extensive as some other dim sum spots, they feature most of the classic dishes. I was a little disappointed, however, that they didn’t have egg tarts on the menu.
Overall, this was probably the best dim sum I've ever experienced, especially given that I'm not typically a fan of shrimp; their shrimp dumplings were unexpectedly delightful. My other favorites were the pork and peanut dumplings, which were filled with peanuts, and the creamy taro bun that served as an absolutely divine dessert. I highly recommend getting there before noon to avoid the crowds.
Absolutely delicious dim sum! This is one of the few remaining spots that truly knows how to do dim sum right. The portions are generous, the quality is outstanding, and everything is incredibly flavorful.
Moreover, the restaurant is not wheelchair accessible.
