In our opinion, Savannah-Hilton Head International Airport is the best small airport in the U.S. While there aren't many dining options available, Sam's Snead's Tavern stands out.

I’m not a fan of dogs on tables at restaurants. They simply don't belong there. I prefer not to eat in a place where a dog has been walking around, especially if its paws might have just come from less-than-pleasant areas.

I've visited this restaurant three times, and during my latest trip, I tried the Steak Scarf. I was impressed by the size of the flatbread, and the flavor was outstanding—perfectly balanced. To sum it up, this has become my favorite spot in Savannah. The food is excellent, the service is top-notch, and the prices are very reasonable. What more could you ask for?

If you're traveling along I-95 near Pooler, GA, especially if you're heading to Savannah, a stop at Sam Snead's is a must. This restaurant pays tribute to one of the PGA Golf Tour's most successful professionals, who won over 80 tournaments. The atmosphere is enjoyable, and both the service and food are top-notch. We had the pleasure of being served by Danielle and John on two different visits, and both provided friendly, attentive, and professional service. The menu offers a fantastic variety, and the kitchen executes everything perfectly. The bar area is warm and inviting, making it a great place to unwind. We will definitely be returning to Sam Snead's for an exceptional culinary experience.
