Bidrage med feedbackOh my! Amazing surprise. The pasta was amazing. Had the perfect balance of flavors. Did not take a picture of the food since I thought this was going to be just a normal italian place... it's not. Everyone at the table ate everything and let the plates empty. I have pictures to prove it!
This little restaurant featuring Italian cuisine is a must for tourists in Savannah, or just the Italian pasta lover. We stopped in for a late lunch with me opting for a basic alfredo with peppercorns, and my wife ordering a gluten free pasta. While we were waiting for our meal bread was brought out for me and gluten free crackers were brought out for my wife without even asking for them but just based off of her menu choice. It's little things like that help us have a wonderful trip, we feel like a food allergy doesn't have to be this big inconvenience. The staff was very friendly making small talk about the ins and outs of Savannah as a town.
We stopped by here because we saw they had homemade pasta. We ordered a couple meatballs just to try, and they were simply amazing! I got the lasagna and it was right in line with the meatballs. My wife had fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp. I was expecting her to be disappointed because hers didn't look like as good as mine but she said it was delicious. Soni asked about the shrimp and she loved it. This is a small shop outside of the river front area but probably one of the best meals we have had in Savannah. It is not a tourist spot. They don't wow you with fancy dining or decor, just their amazing food.
So a friend told me about this place and I have to say this is really a hidden gem
The food here is always exceptional, including the desserts. My favorite dish so far, the Beet, Gorgonzola, Walnuts and Ricotta Ravioli with the Salsa Di Noce sauce. Just amazing.
