Dockside Seafood - Savannah

Dockside’s big plus is the convenient location along the river which means some great views. Outdoor seating is limited and we were lucky to get a table. Food is not that expensive. We ordered puppies, corn on cob and couple of drinks. Beware the food is oily and people seem to like the oil friend taste. I found it heavy on my stomach. The cocktails were better. If you want to sit at a riverside joint, I will recommend this for cocktails.

Good, solid food at reasonable prices is Dockside Seafood 's claim to fame. And they don 't disappoint—the friendly waitstaff gets the job done, and the historic atmosphere from Savannah 's early days makes for a pleasant meal. Give 'em a try!

We ate lunch here on a Tuesday at Noon and it was not too crowded. I had the shrimp po boy and my wife had the crab cake sandwich, both with fries, and we really enjoyed them. The fries had a seasoning on them that my wife really liked. The server was quick, responsive, and friendly. By 1pm the restaurant was very busy but service was still good.

Good food, definitely recommend Crabcake Pet friendly and very comfortable seating outside. Drinks were generous, service and food were fast. I never felt hurried. Only on the bottom, 1 crab cake was not enough in her baskets

We had a great lunch. Shrimp were fresh, shrimp and hush puppies were crispy, and the slaw was tasty. Finished it off with delicious key lime pie. Service was great as well. Nice place to eat
