Billy's Place At Mcdonoughs - Savannah

This fine culinary experience lies in the heart of Savannah in every sense of the word. How happy I was to find this hidden gem, as it really is a gift for the locals, tourists and moats of all ages. The atmosphere rocks comfortably with the beautiful talented pianist and every employee so proudly reflects the pride of all that this restaurant represents. Absolute A phenomenal cook is a gifted culinary artist.

My family loved the ambience here... live piano music and a quiet, private ambience. The staff was so friendly, and most customers seemed local. Janae, our waitress, was especially friendly to our son, and the manager came out to give us hugs as we left. The Mahi, the crabcakes and the squash soup were all delicious. A great date restaurant.

We had a wonderful time on a Saturday night. We were surprised that we could get a reservation and were as surprised as we had a time. The pianist/singer was excellent, food was great and the staff was attentive and nice....we both got a hug as we were gone; how much better it could be! Make yourself a favor and listen to dinner and drinks!

We stumbled over Billy's on the way to the Savannah Theatre. I'm so glad we did it. Our waitress Zseanae was amazing. She helped us choose great cocktails, and she was just wonderful. We felt like family in the time we left and we will definitely go back when we are in Savannah.

Was in Savannah for a reunion with girlfriends when we accidentally found this amazing place. The entire evening was awesome. Our server, Zanea , was great and a very talented singer! We loved the music and entertainment provided by Nancy Witt. This will definitely be a repeat destination for us in the future as the entire evening was one of our favorites of our many travels and evenings out. Thanks!
