Bidrage med feedbackIf they do not like rest and peace, they do not come here. if they just plant and hate birds all around them, they avoid this place. If the feeling of the community is simply not their ding, they keep them in the cities. if all natural vegan farm-to-table gourmet-level cook sounds terrible, then this won't be tasted. if majestic sunsets sound simply transmitted, they remain on the apartments. But if all these things are what you want, then experience them in mel’s botanical retreat and mel’s farm-to-table kitchen in the cute little mountain village kentucky, westmoreland, Jamaica. I took both the culinary arts class and the coffee farm tour/Roasting experience. both were amazing. I was in retreat much longer than planned and it has changed forever. consider it warned, it can also change it! updated by the previous review on 2021-07-18
In many years of travel, no place has ever felt as magical and comfortable as mel’s botanical retreat. eating is amazing; fruit and juices, and smoothies and amazing vegan meals. a large part of the food was cultivated by mel or obtained from neighboring breeders. it is the truest Jamaican experience where I feel so perfect at home and so excellent in the awe of the aromen, the environment and the hospitality. when they get away from the beaten away and have eaten and recollected to appreciate a life, they will please one and go this amazing place.
If you're not a fan of peace and tranquility, this may not be the place for you. If you dislike being surrounded by plants and birds, it's best to avoid this spot. If you don't enjoy feeling welcomed by the community, stick to the cities. If you're not a fan of natural vegan farm-to-table gourmet cooking, this may not suit your tastes. If you don't appreciate majestic sunsets, you may want to stay in the apartments. However, if you're like me and enjoy all of these things, you'll find them at Mel's Botanical Retreat and Mel's Farm-To-Table Kitchen in the charming mountain village of Kentucky, Westmoreland, Jamaica. I participated in both the Culinary Arts class and the Coffee Farm Tour/Roasting Experience, and both were fantastic. I ended up staying at the retreat longer than planned and it was a life-changing experience. Just be warned, it may change you too!

I have traveled for many years, but no place has ever felt as enchanting and cozy as Mel's Botanical Retreat. The food is fantastic, with fresh fruit, juices, smoothies, and delicious vegan dishes. Much of the food is grown on site by Mel or sourced from nearby farmers. It truly captures the essence of a Jamaican experience, making me feel completely at home and in awe of the flavors, surroundings, and hospitality. If you're looking to escape the usual tourist spots and create lasting memories, I highly recommend visiting this incredible place.
