Smokey's BBQ Pit and Patio

We did not feel that our time was well spent at this restaurant. After visiting a few times, we found it to be overrated and expensive. We do not recommend it for older diners, but it seems to have a following among younger people.

I'm not sure if the bar staff at this restaurant were not properly trained over the weekend or if they have their own little scam going on, but I visited three times and there were some serious issues with uneven pouring. Firstly, the bartenders filled the cup with ice and poured a minimal amount of liquor at the wrong angle, making it difficult to taste the alcohol. It took several sips before the ice even began to melt at the bottom of the cup. A simple classic drink like a rum and coke should be easy for any bartender, but even when I specifically asked for Captain Morgan and Coke, they still used cheap rum from the bottom shelf. I paid full price for a drink with very little alcohol content multiple times, and then I watched my husband order 'Doubles' and pay even more for a drink that was still lacking in alcohol. I felt taken advantage of and sober. If we weren't with a group, we would have left and not come back. Luckily, our group was content with canned beer. *Note to staff: For a rum and coke, use 1 part rum to 2 or 3 parts coke (adjust depending on rum quality, with a minimum pour of 1.5 oz rum).

So good fun in Smokey's. Many bars so not long lines. Love pool and games.

Came to Sault Sainte Marie for the weekend and I and my friends heard good reviews from the hotel staff and was told it was recommended so that we went a chance and went. When we first arrived, the Bouncers were extremely rude. We came at 10:30 at night and it wasn't busy yet, but the entire staff was very rude. The area is pretty. An outdoor area with two bars and a dance floor with many tables and seats outside, and the indoor area had a bar and had plenty of space. Then, when Busier got it, security began to become increasingly stricter. I saw them go to the left and right when they didn't cause problems. Nikki, one of the people who fought security, was the most serious security person I ever had to deal with. She was extremely rude for everyone I saw her talking to and when she approached us, she definitely stepped up her limits with the way she acted and what she said. I personally wouldn't come back and I would tell others that they spend their money somewhere. This place did not meet expectations.

They have taken the idea of allowing public smoking outdoors and turned it into a unique dining experience. The food is simple but good, and the atmosphere is one-of-a-kind with log decor, a custom-made bar, and tables. The outdoor bar is great at night, and the food is good during the day. The restaurant is connected to Top-Hat Billiards.
