Bidrage med feedbackI dined at this restaurant last year and initially had a great experience, but it went downhill from there. My meal last night was disappointing, with a raw baked potato and a few dollars more expensive than it should be. The Philly cheese steak lacked flavor and I ended up with heartburn all night. Both meals were accompanied by bland fries, leaving me feeling ripped off. It seems like the owners have lost their touch in preparing quality dishes. It may be time for them to rethink their approach and possibly even consider selling the restaurant.
After seeing the great reviews, this restaurant was a top choice for us to dine at. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with fries, while my partner had the BBQ chicken bone, macaroni, and a large coleslaw. The meal was excellent.
I have been a customer of this restaurant since they first opened almost years ago, and I have always enjoyed their food. However, my recent experience at their new location on St. Queen was very disappointing. When I called to place my order for pick-up, they got it wrong so I had to go back to correct it. By the time I got home, the food was cold as it had been left out. The BBQ chicken was full of bones and fat, the shrimp tacos tasted fishy (which was never an issue before as they were my favorite), and the fries were not seasoned at all. This is the second time this has happened with takeout orders, so we will not be ordering from this restaurant again. I hope they can return to the high quality they had before.
Came when they opened the terrace on the first day. had a bark brisket sandwich and pulled pork sandwich. both were delicious!
My wife was out of town and cooking one is no fun so I thought why don't I try burnt end poutine at low and slow. It was good but I would ask them to mix it rather than Han have the curds and fries...separate next time.
