Captain's Pub Grill - Sault Ste. Marie

Prices and food are very reasonable. I had the Jalapeño-Poppers, Angusmelt and Gumbo. Everything was delicious and very satisfying. The view and restaurants decoration is one of a high-end restaurant. The only thing I would recommend is the service and wait to be improved. If I wasn't in a hurry and I wasn't planning on a few drinks. I'd say the waiting times would be terrible. When I was in the restaurant for the first time, I didn't know where to go. So I followed the stairs up and ended between the bar and restaurant area. There was no greeting or host and went around confused. No sign of waiting for service or anything to lead me. Besides, I was very happy with the food, service and view as soon as everything went.

Had the French dip it was great the hairs are amazing

He waited for a beer for 15 minutes while there were only about 5 seats. Eating took a while and the Green Chile Chicken Grinder was sub par- good taste, tiny part for $10.99. The kids went crazy after the delays. Wife said Burger was good. Nothing special.

Food was excellent BUT the amount of staff was not enough for the customers there. I heard some staff member had a family emergency SO THE MANAGER SHOULD OF FILLED IN. But we didn't ever see them. Bad choice on their part

Very disappointed by the rude service here. We sat at the bar, but didn’t get so much as a hello, smile, or a menu from the bartender. There was only one other table seated in the whole place. Instead, the bartender spent her time complaining to another wait staff about what beer they were out of. Our first interaction with her was her abruptly barking ‘we’re out of X beer y beer’; still no ‘hi’ or ‘how are you.’ When we left she said ‘good’, she was busy enough with the one table. We took our money across the street.
