Auroras West Side - SAULT

If I could give this place a higher rating, I would. We are on vacation from a location 9 hours away and after reading the reviews, we decided to give it a try. It felt like we were in Italy! We started with homemade cheese sticks that were absolutely amazing. My wife had the chicken parmesan sandwich, which was large and delicious. I ordered a Caesar salad and a clubhouse sandwich, both of which were fantastic. To top it off, our server Wendy was incredible! We enjoyed our meal so much that we have already booked our last dinner here before we leave on Monday. Bravo!

A group of 8 of us went to the family dinner on Sunday. We had previously dined here and had received a recommendation from another family member, so we were excited to eat here again. However, we were disappointed with the food. The Calamari was overcooked and gummy, the Mushroom caps were too hot from the deep fryer, and a couple's pizza arrived cold. My lasagna was mediocre and the chicken parmesan was dry. The only highlight was the Fritten, but overall, we were not impressed. We will not be returning.

The service was excellent, but the lasagna was only lukewarm at best. I decided not to send it back because my wife had already finished her salad, which was also underwhelming given the price.

It doesn't matter what season it is, you will freeze your shoulders there! Make sure to bring a warm sweater or you will shimmer throughout the meal. Apparently, the thermostat is locked and cannot be adjusted by the staff.

Great food : Got takeout from the most friendly staff, and it was delicious. The homemade caesar dressing is fantastic!
