Ippon Yari - Santa Cruz

The entire family enjoys the food at this restaurant! There is a wide variety of dishes to choose from and everything we have tried has been delicious. We can't wait to try more on our next visit. Our top picks are the Katsu Curry (a must-try!) and all the makis such as California Maki, Futomaki, and Spicy Salmon Maki. The desserts, specifically the mochi ice cream in different flavors like red bean, matcha, ube, and chocolate, are also very tasty.

This place is always packed with Japanese and locals. I love all dishes served. This is just next to South Supermarket Sta Rosa. If you want to experience an authentic Japanese cooking you have to try Ippon Yari. I like the most Tempura! But there are lots of variety. California Maki is a must try

You simply see many Japanese inside the restaurant. That simply makes it great. But I find it not so expensive compared with others around the area.
