Sensei - Paranaque

I dined at this restaurant and had a wonderful experience overall. The meal was priced at over ₱2,000 per person, which was indicative of the high-quality food. I would give the food a strong 4 out of 5. The service was outstanding, earning a perfect score of 5, and the atmosphere was just as remarkable, also scoring a 5. I highly recommend this restaurant for a special night out!

**Tuna and Crispy Scallop Dynamite: 8/10** - This was delicious, but the Salmon Aburi definitely stole the spotlight for me. I couldn’t stop thinking about it afterward. **Hanger Steak: 7/10** - The steak itself was really good, but I didn’t care for the miso sauce that accompanied it. The steak has a great flavor on its own, and it would be nice if diners had the choice to skip the sauce. The black sauce they also provided complemented the steak well by adding a smoky flavor, which made it more enjoyable. **Ebi Tempura: 10/10** - Our favorite tempura is from Huey Ying in Dampa, but this one at Sensei is a serious contender. I loved that the batter wasn’t bland, and the freshness of the shrimp really shone through. Plus, it was served piping hot. A must-try! **Sensei Chocolate Cake: 5/10** - Although it tasted good, the texture was off-putting for us, so we didn’t finish it. This is more a matter of personal preference, as we found the texture a bit strange. We noticed too late that they offer wagyu, which wasn’t listed on the menu.
