Sakura Sushi - San Rafael

I have been a bay area resident for many years and this is probably the best place that I come back to constantly. The restaurant is family owned and the owner makes sure the sushi is always fresh. I usually order the triple toro roll, salmon toro nigiri, bluefin toro nigiri, lion king, and kamachi kama. They have a special menu where if you ask for toro (aka the belly of the fish), they will usually have it. I dont think it is on the menu because it is special but i would highly recommend ordering it!

I ordered the 40 piece party tray and it was so beautifully put together, fresh and delicious! I ordered for pick up and the everyone that greeted me was so friendly and excitable. I will definitely be back for more!

This place is the hidden gem in Northern San Rafael Tara Linda area. Absolutely amazing food quaint Japanese atmosphere and generally pretty great service! Really lucky this place is so close to where I live.Food: 5 5

Loved everything we ordered here! The long crab miso soup was very delicious with a generous portion of crab meat, albeit just a little bit too rich for my taste even though it was tasty and flavorful. Just something I wouldn't be able to finish on my own but sharing it is perfect.The Real Crab California Roll and Baked Scallop Roll were both delicious! Pairing our meal with hot green tea felt so nice.
