Arawan Thai Restaurant - Sausalito

I stumbled upon this charming Thai restaurant last minute and it turned out to be a hidden gem. It served some of the best Thai dishes I've ever had, and even my son agreed. The food was fresh and bursting with flavors.

We had a great time dining here. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was both hot and delicious!

The only thing more delicious than the beautiful vegan food here (coconut battered sweet potatoes and green curry (all curries are sans fish sauce!! was the wonderfully friendly service here. I came on my birthday and couldn’t be happier here!! I tried to give this FIVE STARS but those are only reserved for fully veg spots. But to me this spot is with that! Upon entering the restaurant, I inquired about the possibility of having a dish made without fish sauce. The staff informed me that they could accommodate my request by using oyster sauce instead, but when I mentioned that I was vegan, they offered several alternative options, such as wok dishes prepared with soy sauce. I ultimately decided on a delicious tofu, basil, and eggplant stir-fry, which exceeded my expectations in terms of variety. In addition to the main ingredients I requested, I was pleasantly surprised to find water chestnuts, snow peas, green beans, carrots, and cabbage included in the dish.

When I came in, I asked if they could make a dish without a fish sauce. They said they could use oyster sauce instead. He said it was shells. When I said I was vegan, he hit a variety of options, including wok dishes with soy sauce. I was very happy with the tofu, basil and aubergine roots I demanded. I didn't expect the meal to be so diverse. I asked about the three main articles and mushrooms. I also received water chestnuts, snow beans, green beans, carrots and cabbage.
