Panda Express - San Rafael

Why bother placing a pre-order when they still make you wait until the customers in line are served first, leaving your food sitting on the counter and getting cold? It's frustrating that you can't just pick up your order like at most other restaurants.

The Honey Sesame Chicken was soggy and undercooked (outside). Tasted like raw flour instead of crispy fried. The inside was dry, overcooked.Poorer quality that what I expect and usually get at Panda Express.The rest was fine: Black Pepper Steak Chow Mein, although the steak's tenderness felt and tasted artificial. Perhaps they use meat tenderizer?I'll keep going here unless this experience is repeated:

I've purchased food here about 3 times, the last time the food was dry, no flavor on the chowmain no veggies. The chicken was dry and full of fat. The egg rolls were cold . Also I noticed that they serve portions depending on the customer. The person in front of me they put a large amount of food and for me they bearly even filled up the plate

The restaurant did not clean their cooking equipment properly, as I witnessed them only rinsing the pot. The food was falling off the plate and they used their bare hands to put it back on, without wearing gloves. None of the staff were wearing gloves, and they were all touching the same screens and utensils. This is very unsanitary. The food tasted stale, the chicken tasted like shrimp, and it was tough and unappetizing. The chow mein had no flavor at all. Additionally, there were children running around in the restaurant.

Horrible placeWe arrived before 9 pm they close at 9 30 and the server a male was so nasty! Many food dishes were empty and he refused to re fill with fresh food. He had the worst attitude and zero customer service!
