Ascendo Coffee - San Luis Obispo

Cool mood and exceptional coffee. The homemade syrups are great. Really enjoyed the current seasonal, cardamom rose, in my latte, and the included cookie was perfectly dense and neutral flavored. Absolutely loved the different size tables and separate areas for laptop work and community meeting room to all kinds of visitors. Pastries look fantastic.

Simply the best coffee shop in a long time. We have the brown sugar loaf with extra espresso and almond milk. The drink was one of the best espresso drinks I had in a very long time. I was shocked. They have homemade almond milk that made something to bash. I asked for a little sample of it.. It was far superior to any store bought almond milk. You could really taste real almond, and it had an almond powder that was amazing. The shop inside is really beautiful and modern. It is spacious and open. You have board games to play and box with chic pieces already setup. You don't have a laptop area so people can get together what we thought was cool. Overall, I would definitely stop here next time in SLO.

Comfortable location that offers Wi-Fi with purchase. I love sitting in this café with a latte and a pastry. the atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing. I often see various treats that are always so tempting.

Really clean place. Loved the 'common area' with games and huge chessboard. The drink I ordered was a little weak to be honest. Shots appeared on par, but the craftsmanship needed some work. Iced Mocha.

Had an amazing Flat White here, the atmosphere feels as though the shop has really created a nice, unique feeling. There is a special area that is solely dedicated to 'no laptop 's which I found interesting.
