Tasteless pasta : no cheese no herbs no sauce ... for a too high price ! Very bad service Avoid this place

We had been in Italy 4 days, eaten some very expensive meals which were nice, just not fantastic. We’d had one pretty epic tasting menu in Florence but this little bistro in a side street of San gimignano was the most enjoyable meal we had in Italy. The Picci local type of pasta) is freshly made pasta with garlic and tomatoes and absolutely sensational 10/10 flavour! My husband had the cheapest steak, not because it was cheap but because the waiter said that the others were too big for one person, it was cooked to perfection and his knife melted through the meat, I tasted it and have to say it was delicious. He ordered a side of cooked spinach, huge quantity and delicious. I had just eaten too much while in Italy so went for the tuna and bean salad as my main, very simple but was exactly what I needed and the onions were sweet and crunchy! People were walking up to the outside menu and walking on by, I wanted to shout, this is the best kept secret in town!!!! Highly recommend.

Stopped in here on a rainy night whilst we were visiting the town and we were not disappointed. Out of the four of us who visited, two are vegetarian and there was a great selection to chose from. The house wine was delicious, the food was outstanding and the portions were far more than we expected. To top it all off, the prices are very reasonable. We'd definitely recommend this place and will return in the future.

Più di ristorante Lo definirei un negozio di macellai rivisitato. all'interno hanno mantenuto lo stile del macellaio, un posto un po' diverso dal solito ma che nel contesto non stona. parlando dei piatti ho mangiato un antipasto di crostini misti, buoni ma non sublimati come il fiorentino che ho sbraitato dopo. la trattoria offre una diversa scelta di carne di peso e qualità per soddisfare un numero infinito di clienti, la qualità della carne è eccezionale, mai mangiato una tale buona farina! assolutamente consigliato, prezzi in standard

Sicuramente le coste saranno eccellenti (non ho provato loro) il resto del menu ni.
