Leonetto- Le Renaie - SAN GIMIGNANO

We had read reviews and were reluctant to try leonetto, but we remain in the opposite, so we gave it an attempt. had a pasta dish, lamb hacks, an salat and a selection of cold cuts. all very tasty. service was friendly and fast....The local wein was good. all in all a beautiful experience, prices average in comparison to other places we have been on this trip. if we had had had more time, we would probably have fallen.

It was our first day in toscana and we were not disappointed by the food! pastas were delicious, so was the wee and the desert. the only part: the amount. we would have eaten 2 plates pasta each. but the experience was very...nice and the staff was very nice and welcoming.

We were before location and there are literally no other evening options. it served a purpose, fed the hungry children, but was relativ expensive and blanching. would be better when buying deli goodies in san gim and with a picnic.

We spent a lovely afternoon in June 2018 enjoying the view, nice wine, lovely lunch and personable service. I would love to go again and again. This is what Tuscany is all about! It was amazing!

Reservations required. One of the only restaurants in the area without driving into the town. Love the pasta and chicken dishes. Pizza was delicous too.
