On a day trip from Buenos Aires I dined in this restaurant on a number of occasions. The location is very... The staff was super friendly-I would like to appreciate Augustina-and a wide selection of food was on offer.... Try the stirring fry....A beautiful and relaxing place that serves good food at very affordable prices... Very recommended.

He just went to this place of the road because he was nearby. The atmosphere from the word went great. The service brilliant and the food excellent.

Had a beer and some food here... still fighting with Spanish conversation, but waiter seemed nice and was a pleasant atmosphere. Had milenese escallop and it was v tasty, but much too big a part for me... only eaten two thirds. Wash bowl in toilet a classic!

El Mitre is a historic place in the centre of Sam Antonio de Areco. Unseen to many is the private basement space where local gauchos congregate someabends and have been doing this for years. The restaurant itself is a great starting point for a day visit in the city of San Antonio de Areco and surrounding Estancias. Pastries and coffee are excellent, and the room itself really makes oasis with authentic charm. This isn't an excessive tourist trap. Just a classic place. The service is on site.

We only had drinks and french fries and I reserve an excellent rating only when and if I have a full meal and the place is deserving, but the waitress was so kind and so funny that she made our one hour visit a special experience.
