Jillie’s Wine And Shop - San Anselmo

I had a fantastic evening with friends at Jillie's, enjoying great music, delicious wines, and tasty food. It was my first visit, but it certainly won't be my last!

This is a lovely spot to visit on a relaxing weekend afternoon! The staff is incredibly friendly. I really enjoyed their wine flight selection, which is available on tap! There are plenty of seats both indoors and outdoors, and they keep the doors open, making it feel well-ventilated during these COVID times. We ended up ordering another wine flight, and the great thing is you can choose which wines you'd like, including any of the bottles they have open. I’m a fan of red wine, so I opted for a red flight and absolutely loved the Sangiovese and the Cabernet Sauvignon; we even took home a bottle of the Cabernet. The restaurant is located in a strip mall that has a variety of food options, and you're welcome to bring food from any of the nearby establishments. However, since the view outside isn’t particularly scenic, it might be a fun idea to bring along a board game or come with a group of friends.

Absolutely stunning in every way! The amazing windows let in so much natural light, creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with friendly people and excellent service. They offer an extensive menu, and even with masks on, you can sense their warm smiles. Despite the elegance of the restaurant, it has a trendy vibe with a live DJ during the day—yes, count me in! I'm so grateful to have visited my sister today, as she always knows the best places to go.

We recently discovered this hidden gem, and have had the pleasure of sipping wine and having bar bites here twice. It’s our new favorite place, perfect for a quick glass of wine, to gather with friends, learn about wine, and listen to awesome live music (on the weekends). Air conditioned, enormous wine selection, well-informed tasting selection, knowledgeable and friendly staff, easy parking, vibrant decor, and owners make you feel right at home. A true hidden gem!
