The Waves - Saltburn-by-the-Sea

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The service was excellent, and the staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. The oysters were a bit small and not as juicy as I had hoped, but that didn't really matter. I absolutely loved the salmon with the poached egg; it was amazing! The cod was slightly too salty for my taste, but the shrimp and mashed potatoes complemented it nicely. I also enjoyed the view from the window! I plan to try the crab with French brioche on my next visit, and I’ll definitely be returning with friends!

I had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at Seaview. Although we had to wait an hour to be seated, the host kept us informed throughout, which made the wait much more enjoyable. The menu may be small, but it's fabulous, and the prices are reasonable. I would definitely visit them again!

Recently renovated, the restaurant now features an expansive outdoor terrace that offers stunning views of the beach and pier. The interior seating area has been improved, allowing for a larger takeaway section. It’s very popular, so be prepared for a wait – reservations are only accepted for dinner. The dining experience is top-notch, with a classic fish and chips menu complemented by a great selection of other seafood options.

Astonishing prospective and brilliant eating. the personal was attentive and looked at us brilliantly. they value the journey for eating alone, but perfectly composed by the intention!

It’s a very nice, better than you average chippy, as it is a bonifido restaurant. Fine views of the sea, great table service and tasty food awaits you, make sure to book ahead as this place can get really busy, we had a super supper time watching the tide roll in
