Le Clos Normand Restaurant - Salinelles

We are staying here for a few nights. Lovely family run hotel. The family are very friendly and the evening meals are excellent as is the menu choice. A gem of a place :

In Troarn, this restaurant offers nothing special. Overcooked salmon, overcooked peas, old interior. Maybe a typical place in a French town, but we have seen much better.

Had a lunch there on a way to a ferry. Had chicken,monk fish and scallops. All equally terrible. With such an extensive menu, no surprise everything comes from freezer. That can only happen in France, where food is either excellent or like that. Avoid at all cost.

I dined here whilst staying in the hotel, the food was superb and my friend was equally pleased..........

Restaurant normale sans chichi , mais bon il y à mieux dans le coinprix corrects , le cadre est un peu austère et l accueil un peu froid
